What is dragon’s blood?
Dragon’s blood, also known as Sangre de Grado or Drago, is a precious reddish-brown resin extracted from the bark of the Peruvian dragon tree (Croton lechleri). It is a highly prized natural remedy that has been used for centuries by indigenous peoples in South America as a versatile natural remedy for numerous ailments – both external and internal. It is obtained by gently incising the tree’s bark, without damaging the plant.
Our product comes from sustainable and environmentally responsible cultivation in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. The resin is hand-harvested by local indigenous people, who in doing so preserve their traditional knowledge and are fairly paid for their work. The resin is harvested without damaging the trees, ensuring the long-term protection of the natural environment.
The Dragon’s Blood we offer is 100% pure plant resin – free from alcohol, preservatives, colourings or artificial additives. It is a natural extract taken directly from the plant, which retains all its original properties and therapeutic potential. It has an intense dark red colour, characteristic of the presence of natural antioxidants and tannins; therefore, care should be taken when using it to ensure it does not come into contact with clothing, as it may leave permanent stains.

Usage
Important: Shake the bottle well before use, as the resin naturally settles.
External use:
- Apply a drop or two directly to the affected area.
- Gently rub in. Allow the resin to dry to form a natural protective layer.
- Repeat several times a day as needed.
Warning: the strong red colour may stain fabrics – we recommend handling with care.
Internal use (only after consulting a healthcare professional!):
- Add 3 to 5 drops to a glass of water.
- Stir and drink quickly, as the resin will not dissolve completely.
- Take 1 to 2 times a day
- We recommend taking it for 5 consecutive days, followed by a 2-day break.
- Not suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers or children without prior consultation with a doctor.
