Whole Ceylon Cinnamon Organic 125 g
Cinnamon can be combined with vanilla, coriander and nutmeg; it is particularly tasty and, at the same time, beneficial to our health when paired with cloves or turmeric. It can also be used in homemade cosmetics and as a dietary supplement, as it contains many ingredients that are important and beneficial to humans; it is also used in aromatherapy and to fragrance rooms. As Ceylon cinnamon contains the least amount of coumarin – a substance thought to have a negative effect on the liver and to thin the blood – it is much more suitable for regular consumption.
💚 A powerful antioxidant.
💚 Organically grown.

Organic whole Ceylon cinnamon
Ceylon cinnamon originates from Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon, from which the cinnamon takes its name). This true cinnamon is, compared to Chinese cinnamon or cassia – which most of us are more familiar with and which is available in most shops – rarer and therefore much more valuable. Various grades of cinnamon are produced in Sri Lanka, and our selected Ceylon cinnamon is distinguished by its refined and delicate aroma. It has a mild, sweet flavour and is used to flavour desserts, compotes, pastries, pies and biscuits, as well as punch and mulled wine. It is used to flavour honey, chocolate, nuts, chilli, dairy products, cranberries, baked apples and bananas. You can sprinkle cinnamon over fruit (fruit salads, stewed fruit) and cereals, or add it to yoghurt, rice pudding, quark and various milk-based fruit drinks. It also goes well with tea and coffee, as well as cocoa and hot chocolate. Cinnamon is also the most popular Christmas spice. In fact, cinnamon is one of the most versatile spices, which works well in various, sometimes even unusual combinations, particularly in Middle Eastern and Mexican cuisine (for example, in curry). Traditionally, it is used to enhance dishes.
Our cinnamon is organically grown.
