Lugol’s Solution (super high-quality iodine drops – 5%)
Iodine (I) and potassium iodide (KI) are combined with distilled water to create Lugol’s solution, often known as Lugol’s iodine.
French physician Jean Guillaume Auguste Lugol first developed Lugol’s solution in 1829. Dr. Lugol discovered that potassium iodide increases the solubility of iodine in water. Lugol’s solution is a mixture of iodine and potassium iodide in a ratio of 1:2.
