What is green coffee?
Green coffee beans are simply unroasted beans from the common coffee plant. Green coffee is therefore a completely natural product. It is prepared just like ordinary herbal tea. It also tastes very similar to herbal tea.
The coffee beans are specially selected from organic plantations and are ground in a special way to ensure optimal effectiveness and, of course, flavour when prepared.
Green coffee is gaining more and more followers due to its positive effects on modern ailments: excess weight, stress, lack of energy and ageing. That is precisely why it comes as no surprise that, even after several years, it remains a sought-after and best-selling food product.
Our green coffee is a certified organic product, completely natural and free from additives.
What ingredients does green coffee contain and how do they work?
- Caffeine – green coffee contains a slightly lower concentration of caffeine. Smaller amounts of caffeine help combat physical and mental fatigue. For more energy and a better sense of well-being.
- Chlorogenic acid – helps to burn fat. Thanks to chlorogenic acid, green coffee can aid weight loss. However, most of it is lost during roasting.
- Antioxidants – they neutralise free radicals and can thus help prevent the development of certain diseases. In addition, antioxidants also have anti-ageing effects, i.e. they inhibit the processes that contribute to ageing.
- Other ingredients – B-complex vitamins, minerals, polyphenols. Everything our body needs on a daily basis.
Not just for weight loss
Green coffee is a delightful experience for all lovers of good herbal teas. The flavour is very pleasant, interesting and unique. Although we do tend to associate it mainly with weight loss, green coffee can also be enjoyed for other purposes; and if we combine it with something else to improve our well-being, we’re killing (at least) two birds with one stone.
When is it recommended to drink green coffee?
Due to its caffeine content, we advise against drinking it before bed, especially if caffeine has a significant effect on your alertness.
Otherwise, of course, you can drink it whenever you like, just as you would with ordinary coffee or tea. Green coffee adds variety to the drinks we enjoy every day. It’s particularly welcome when we need something to boost our energy and mood.
However, if you want to use green coffee to manage your weight and lose a few kilograms, we recommend drinking it at least 15 minutes before each main meal. Only then will it act as an appetite suppressant. It is important not to drink it during or after a meal.
How much green coffee is recommended?
To achieve the optimal effects of this natural and healthy drink, which improves general well-being, provides energy and can be of great help with weight loss, you should drink at least half a litre a day. If at all possible, it should always be freshly prepared.
How do we package our green coffee and how should it be stored?
Green coffee is packed in an airtight zip-lock bag, where it retains all its freshness and aroma. The packaging protects against light and air, as it consists of several layers of protection that preserve the properties of the contents. Green coffee packed in this way should be stored in a dry, dark and cool place. Make sure the bag or box is always tightly sealed.
The packaging is very practical and can be recycled.

South America
How do we make green coffee?
Green coffee is prepared in a similar way to herbal teas:
Pour 200 ml of water, heated to 80 °C, over 2 grams of green coffee, leave to stand for 2–3 minutes, then strain. You can make at least one more infusion with the same coffee.
To avoid extra calories, we recommend not sweetening the drink. However, you can add cinnamon, ginger or cardamom to enhance the flavour. It’s also lovely served over ice in the summer heat.
What does green coffee taste like?
Green coffee has a pleasant, refreshing, aromatic flavour reminiscent of nuts. In fact, it is more reminiscent of tea than the coffee we are used to.
Other uses:
- Smoothies: Add green coffee powder to fruit or vegetable smoothies for an extra energy boost.
- Baking: Use it in recipes for biscuits, muffins or bread to enrich the flavour and boost the nutritional value.
- Salad dressings: A small amount of green coffee powder can add an interesting flavour to salad dressings.
- Protein shakes: Add it to pre-workout protein shakes for extra energy.
