Organic Coriolus
The variegated flat-cap mushroom is a recognised medicinal mushroom intended for external use, which has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Alongside ganoderma, cordyceps and certain other fungi, it ranks among the best-known medicinal mushrooms in our region. Its pharmacologically active compounds are the subject of numerous clinical studies. A widespread and common wood-dwelling mushroom found throughout the world, it grows on decaying wood.
The cultivation of our Coriolus medicinal mushroom is strictly controlled, without the use of chemicals or pesticides, and is 100% organic. The quality of the mushrooms is regularly monitored by independent laboratories in Slovenia and the USA.
Coriolus consists of a variety of polysaccharides, vitamins, mineral salts and antioxidants. It also contains a wide range of phenolic and flavonoid antioxidants, which are believed to offer numerous benefits. Two important polysaccharide-protein complexes – PKS (krestin or polysaccharide K) and PSP (polysaccharide peptide) – which make up Coriolus, are still the subject of numerous studies.
Usage
In accordance with the EU Novel Food Regulation, Coriolus cannot currently be sold as a food supplement or foodstuff. The product is therefore suitable for external use only!
Packaging
An airtight zip-lock bag, in which the product retains all its freshness and aroma. The packaging protects against light and air, as it consists of several layers of protection that preserve the properties of the contents.
The packaging is very practical and can be recycled.
