Organic Dandelion Powder

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), also known as dandelion or pisanec, is a perennial plant of the Asteraceae family. The plant is widespread throughout the world and is commonly found in meadows, gardens, roadsides and other open areas. As well as its ornamental value, it also has historical and contemporary practical value in traditional and natural medicine, where its potential health benefits have been studied.

Why is dandelion so special and so different?

Dandelion root powder is a dietary supplement derived from the roots of this plant. Dandelion root powder is valued for its numerous potential health benefits. Dandelion has been used for various purposes in traditional medical systems around the world, including as a tonic and diuretic.

Dandelion root is a rich source of numerous nutrients, including vitamins (A, C and K), minerals (potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus) and other compounds that may benefit health.

Dandelion contains antioxidants that protect cells from damage. Flavonoids are antioxidants that include compounds such as quercetin and luteolin.

Dandelion root also contains fibre, the most important of which is inulin.

Other important compounds found in dandelion root include bitterin, which stimulates the appetite, and phytochemicals, which have various health benefits.
